Karen Weidner LCSWR

Karen has been with Adirondack Samaritan Counseling Center as a staff therapist since 2001 and served as Executive Director for 13 years. The mission of the center addressing mind, body and spiritual aspects of those seeking our help informs Karen’s work with individuals and couples/family counseling. Special areas of interest include women’s issues, grief, trauma, caregiver support and stage of life issues. Her work with clients is informed by mindfulness, narrative and polyvagal theory. Karen currently maintains a part-time practice with Adirondack Samaritan Counseling Center.
