The Adirondack Samaritan Counseling Center is a private, not-for-profit interfaith counseling center. Contributions are used in two significant ways, for capital improvements and future program development, as well as for providing assistance for clients who cannot fully afford fees for services.
Helping Hand Fund
This is a fund to which individuals, companies, and congregations may regularly contribute. It provides supplemental funding for clients who cannot fully afford the cost of counseling or therapy services due to inadequate medical insurance coverage and/or limited personal financial means. Contributions are made directly to the Center at 15 Boulevard, Hudson Falls, NY 12839.
Ethics in Business Awards
The Ethics in Business Awards’ purpose is to recognize the importance of ethics in businesses in our community and honor those individuals and companies that engage in ethical business practices. The awards also serve as a way for the Center to raise its public profile and promote the Center’s operation. You can support this program by becoming a sponsor or nominating a deserving business.
The ASCC Capital Improvement Fund and Program Development Fund
The Board of ASCC has sole management of these restricted funds, which are designed for special program initiatives or capital improvements. Contributions go directly to the principal of this fund.
Tri-County United Way
The local United Way, from which ASCC receives funds for our Helping Hand Fund and our Men’s Opportunity Program, annually requests contributions in their drive to support many deserving agencies in the tri-county area. Its office is in Glens Falls, on Upper Glen Street.
